ANIEKEME FINBARR AND HIS DANCE OF SHAME AT PA NKANANG’S FUNERAL : AKWA IBOM GOVERNOR’S NEW MEDIA AIDE GETS LASHING OVER INCITING POST
The Special Assistant to Akwa Ibom Governor on New Media, Mr Aniekeme Finbarr has received lashing from a new media practitioner in the state over a post made about a serving Governor of Cross River State, read his write up below;
“The obsequies of Late Pa Gabriel Nkanang may have come and gone, but it leaves us with memories, both good and bad, mostly good for many.
One of them, which I observed with dismay, cannot be allowed to slide, for reasons I will state below.
It is the caption of a post by the Special Assistant to Governor of Akwa Ibom State on New Media, Mr Aniekeme Finbarr, on the photograph of the Congratulatory Message to his boss by his Cross River State counterpart, Prof. Ben Ayade in Late Pa Nkanang’s Burial Program.
For someone of his standing, there’s no gain saying that Aniekeme has goofed by making such post.
I must say that as an Akwa Ibom man from Etinan, a New Media Practitioner, I am ashamed of such post by Aniekeme Finbarr against the person of Professor Ben Ayade; a Barrister, Professor, a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, a Catholic Knight and Governor who did no wrong in commiserating with Governor Udom Emmanuel.
Moreso because, Aniekeme in his mould, or even in his life, can never attain such position or clinch such achievements that Governor Ayade has.
This is a subtle insult and does not conform with the personality of Governor Udom Emmanuel, which must have inspired his aide on Social Orientation, Ekpeno Gold to launch a campaign for social values and against insult on elders.
I therefore challenge Mr Aniekeme Finbarr to not just take down the post, but also tender an open apology to Sir Ben Ayade for such unruly post against his personality and that of millions of Cross Riverians whom he represents.
I dare him to do it!”
