JUST LIKE NAIRA MARLEY, ANOTHER NIGERIAN MUSICIAN JAILED FOR ‘YAHOO-YAHOO’ IN AKWAIBOM,

Following the arrest of Naira Marley , it has been confirmed that the multiple Nigerian law enforcement agencies existing have no space to harbor crime.

In light of this, it has been reported that Justice A.T. Mohammed of the Federal High Court sitting in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, has sentenced singer Gagiyouwe Thankgod aka Tuesday Cruise to six months imprisonment with a choice of fine of N200,000 for internet fraud.
The 25-year-old was arraigned on July 24, 2019, by the Uyo Zonal Office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on a one-count charge.

The charge reads: “That you, Gagiyouwe Pal Thankgod (alias Chris Henry) on or about the 11th day of July 2019, in Nigeria within the jurisdiction of this honorable Court, fraudulently impersonated one Chris Henry by using his email address [email protected] with the intent to obtain money, property or any advantage from one John Smith and other unsuspecting persons.”
The musician whose journey jail started on July 11, 2019, when he was captured along Edet Akpan Avenue (Four Lanes) in Uyo by agents of the Commission, following insight report pleaded guilty. At the time of his capture, a laptop was found on him with incriminating evidence such as various scam documents, which the convict admitted to have sent out to mainly female foreigners with the aim of duping them.
