It was a gathering of who’s who in the country yesterday at Abeokuta when Governor Ibikunle Amosun gave out his beautiful daughter in marriage to former Rep.member Abike Dabiri-Erewa’s son.
It must be said that Abeokuta has not witnessed the type of creme de la creme of the Nigerian society who stood still for the glamorous wedding.Prominent personalities including the Acting President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, Speaker House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, former President Olusegun Obasanjo, governors ,traditional rulers and religious leaders as well as politicians and captain of industries thronged the wedding venue for the state governor ,Senator Ibikunle Amosun’s daughter , Ayomide Amosun and Oladipupo Dabiri; son of former House of Representatives member and Senior Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari, on Nigerians in Diaspora, Hon. Abike Dabiri
The classy wedding was indeed the wedding of the year in Ogun State as the city stood still for the Amosuns and the Dabiris.It must be said that the whole Abeokuta city was in total lockdown as guests came en masse for the wedding from all over the country.
